About Neenah Historical Society/Hiram Smith Octagon House
The Neenah Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Neenah and the surrounding area. Visitors can explore two historic buildings: the Hiram Smith Octagon House, a unique National Register-listed home featuring the Society’s museum and archives, and the Ward House, which houses the research library, office, and classroom. The Society promotes interest in local history and encourages the preservation of historic buildings, sites, and artifacts.
