About Prescott History Center
The Prescott History Center, located in downtown Prescott, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is operated by The Prescott Area Historical Society. Built in 1885, it housed the H.S. Miller Bank and Prescott's first newspaper.
The History Center is open on Saturday and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or by appointment. Steamboats, Towboats & River History exhibit showing until fall of 2026.
