About Upham Mansion
The restored 1880 mansion of Wisconsin's third Governor William Henry Upham. This historic house museum displays vintage Victorian furniture owned by Governor Upham. Listed in the Local, State, and National Register of Historic Places, is now servies as the center for the North Wood County Historical Society exhibits, activities, and local history research.The Heritage Rose Garden behind the home features 32 varieties of roses, some dating back to the year 200 at the time of the Roman Empire. With its bower-seated walkways, the arbor is stylishly designed to compliment the Victorian influence of the Upham house.
