Wisconsin Concrete Park

Fred Smith's Wisconsin Concrete Park delights visitors with 230 figures of mythical and real characters encountered by Smith during his lifetime as a logger, farmer, tavern owner, and musician. At age 65, the self-taught artist began filling his front yard with statues of Paul Bunyan, Kit Carson, Abe Lincoln, Sacajawea, Statue of Liberty, Ben Hur, plus many more. The statues are now displayed in a park-like setting.

There is a large parking area that will accommodate tour buses and RVs. Flush toilets are open spring through fall. The Countryside Artist's Gallery & Gifts located on the premises in the historic Smith Family house is open seasonally, call for dates and times. The park also offers a 1/2-mile long hiking/nature trail. The park is a preservation project of the Kohler Foundation, Inc. and the Friends of Fred Smith, Inc. 

Workshops are held at the Friends of Fred Smith Studio throughout the year; call for more information and to register. Adjacent to the park is Rock Garden, which is available to rent for private parties, and used during park events and workshops.
