About Kahnekano·lú Cultural Center
Discover the history, traditions and culture of the Oneida Nation at the Kahnekano·lú Cultural Center. Named for the Oneida phrase meaning "precious water," this museum features more than 20,000 square feet of exhibits that invite visitors to explore the stories and experiences that have shaped the Oneida community.
Interactive displays, videos, touchscreens and hands-on activities bring exhibits to life, including a dance pad where visitors can learn traditional Oneida social dances. Be sure to stroll through the outdoor reflective garden and take time to explore the exhibits that highlight both the Nation's rich heritage and the culture and traditions that continue to thrive today.
