About Lakeland Players, Ltd.
The Lakeland Players are a volunteer run non-profit community theater group in Elkhorn, WI. Established in 1973, they have been entertaining Walworth County for over 50 years. Performances are held at the Historic Sprague Theater, a 1928 Art Deco theater that Lakeland Players has owned and operated since 1990. About five musicals or plays including at least one youth theater production are produced each year. Located right on Elkhorn's town square, the house has a capacity of 200 with concessions available during performances. The theater is also used for numerous other community events such as concerts and movie showings.
