Stefan has collected antique electric fans and appliances since the age of eight. His interest in fans began after watchng Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. A trip to the Thomas Edison Estate introduced him to the world of antique brass fans. He was hooked on them and began collecting in earnest in 1989. He continues to collect today and has recently been featured on the TV show American Pickers.
