The Hiker Box

Since 2014, The Hiker Box has aimed to help customers get the most enjoyment from every outdoor experience. Founded by two long-distance hikers and staffed by a team of gear junkies and outdoor buffs, they not only pride themselves on offering the best gear but also the enthusiasm and experience to help customers find the best advice and products to fit their needs.

In January 2025, they completely transitioned the spaces from the original location to the new headquarters at 211 S Railroad Street. Still in downtown Eagle River, just around the corner, with much more space to browse and test all of their cool goods and dream about what adventures it will take you on.

They carry a large variety of outdoor gear and equipment including: tents, hammocks, camp furniture, backpacks and bags, hydration and water filtration, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, camp cooking gear, maps, atlases, field guides, books, fire starting, trekking poles, travel essentials, bear repellent, big repellent, pest repellent, clothing, outerwear, footwear, socks, kids goods, gifts, seasonal items, and more!
