Local banker Isaac P. Witter and his wife Charlotte built their beautiful home Shadowlawn in 1907, and the South Wood County Historical Museum would like to share it with you. The newly renovated museum includes displays of lumbering, train depot, Witter library, Charlotte's sun room, toy room, General Store/ Country Kitchen, Doctor's office, and the Alcove featuring Wisconsin Rapids High School Graduate Myron H. "Grim" Natwick's artwork: the animation of Snow White, Betty Boop, Mr. Magoo and more. The Brazeau and J. Marshall Buehler galleries feature traveling and changing exhibit space.
