About La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway
The LaCrosse Speedway, located in West Salem, Wisconsin features two paved oval tracks for stock car racing and a dragstrip for its Friday night Street Drags. The facility opened for paved racing in 1970 and is home to the historic short track racing event, the Oktoberfest Race Weekend. The tracks are a 5/8th mile with inner 1/4 mile. The dragstrip is approximately 300' long, and is used for fun drag racing. The events put on are not only fast paced and exciting, but there is always something fun for everyone of all ages, whether it's a T-Bone Crash, a Driver Hot Dog Eating Contest, Kids' Races or Rides, or Driver Autograph Sessions. Join us at the track this summer for a fun time away from the pressures of life!
