Enjoy discovering the wonders of nature found here! Nature preserves are open to the public at no charge for hiking, skiing, photography, nature study and other low-impact, non-motorized activities.
Trail passes through fields to the edge of a bluff overlooking the waters of Lake Michigan. From this scenic overlook, the trail then descends through fields filled with milkweed and goldenrod to the shores of Lake Michigan. The preserve is a great place to observe shore birds, dragonflies and butterflies.
