Tucked deep within the Bayfield County Forest, this rustic yurt offers direct access to thousands of acres of public land and some of Wisconsin’s premier recreational trails. Guests can step right from the yurt onto the CAMBA mountain bike trails and the North End ski trails, which connect to the world-famous American Birkebeiner trail system. Designed for those looking to unplug and experience the quiet beauty of the north woods, the yurt provides a simple yet comfortable base for outdoor adventure.

The 20-foot diameter yurt is insulated for year-round use and heated with a woodstove. Inside, it features two bunk beds with full-size mattresses on the bottom and twin mattresses on top, sleeping up to six people. A handcrafted table and six chairs are also provided. Outside, guests will find a bear-proof food storage box, deck, picnic table, fire ring with grill grate, and an outhouse. As the yurt is located in bear country, all food must be stored in the designated outdoor box and never left inside the yurt.
