The Mystery of Irma Vep from the Peninsula Players 2014 season.

Discover Door County’s professional theatrical treasure, presenting Broadway-quality comedies, dramas and musicals for 82 seasons. The 2017 season opens with “The Actuary,” a world première romantic comedy-drama by Steven Peterson. “Peter and the Starcatcher” will have imaginations flying high in this play by Rick Elice based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. Be swept away by the beautifully lush musical “The Bridges of Madison County,” based on the novel by Robert James Waller and created by Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman. “Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime” is a delightful comedy full of muddled murder by Constance Cox, based on the story by Oscar Wilde. The season closes with “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani, a charming off-beat comedy set in a mythical town where love is lost and found. Peninsula Players’ renowned artistic company provides a truly unforgettable theatrical experience. Enjoy a pre-show beverage under the canopy of a cedar forest on the shores of Green Bay before partaking in a performance at America’s oldest professional resident summer theater. Performances held Tuesday through Sunday; no shows on Mondays. Find out why patrons have been enchanted by the Players experience for generations. Gift certificates are available year-round.
