The Chocolate Caper is a chocolate shop in Oregon, WI that has made and specialized in swiss praline since 1983. Swiss praline are a chocolate confection based on a traditional Swiss recipe combined with an imaginative use of American ingredients. The Chocolate Caper began as a small booth at the Madison Farmer's Market, and after several years, opened its current store in downtown historic Oregon, WI when customers started asking where they could get praline when the market wasn't open. The Chocolate caper also carries a large variety of truffles, caramels, toffee, pecan caramel clusters, baked goods & more.
