Known for its moveable Burke Brise Soleil (or “wings”), the Milwaukee Art Museum is an essential destination for art and architecture in Wisconsin. The Museum is Wisconsin’s largest arts institution, comprised of iconic buildings by Santiago Calatrava, Eero Saarinen, and David Kahler on a 24-acre lakefront campus. It is home to collections spanning from antiquity to the present, including contemporary photography, Minimalism, Modern American painting, folk and self-taught art, Haitian art, German Expressionism, and decorative arts.
