Whistling Swan Inn & Restaurant
A meticulously renovated country Inn with over 100 years of intriguing history...an elegantly appointed room or suite, embellished with antiques...a picturesque harbor village on the Door Peninsula...this setting awaits you at the Whistling Swan Inn. Accommodations with character and history...originally built in Marinette, WI in 1887...22 miles from Fish Creek, by water or ice. The Whistling Swan was dragged across the ice, by teams of horses, in 1907. Unwind in an elegantly appointed room or suite, embellished with antiques. The Whistling Swan has five beautifully decorated bedrooms and two suites, all with private baths and a newly opened restaurant. The menus, designed by Whistling Swan Executive Chef, Adam Schierl, and Sous Chef, Ryan Duebler, explore contemporary American cuisine. Their journey to create bold flavors traverses a diverse selection of locally foraged produce, wild game, local freshwater fish and saltwater fish flown in from distant waters. All of this in a charming and inviting dining room, set aglow with a wood-burning fireplace, intimate candlelight and white linen covered tables. Open all year. We are business friendly!
