Mauthe Lake Recreation Area
It is made up of family camping sites, hills, lakes, forests and grasslands. Hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, backpacking and snowmobiling are all activities that can be enjoyed on Mauthe Lake's trails. A swimming beach with an 80-acre lake is perfect for boating or fishing off a pier. The recreation and campgrounds are suitable for those seeking some good old-fashioned camping. It is more quiet and relaxed than Long Lake and makes for a nice area to camp for those looking for a peaceful atmosphere.
