Come up to Bayfield for an entire weekend 'Celebrating Ice, Snow and Cabin Fever!' Special events throughout the weekend include: The Run on Water - Run, walk, ski, skate, skijor, or snowshoe 5 miles across frozen Lake Superior to Madeline Island and back on the Ice Road; the Polar Bear Plunge - Watch volunteers jump through a hole in the ice to raise money, or better yet, do it yourself! (Both Fundraisers for the Bayfield Recreation Center). Mt. Ashwabay Winterfest Bash - Including a chili contest, bonfire, live music, night tubing - don't miss this great party! And more! Visitors will enjoy skiing at Mt.
