The Discovery Center Bird Club in partnership with the Manitowish Waters Chamber invites you to explore the wonders of birding in Wisconsin’s Northwoods during peak warbler migration. Great Lakes area experts lead trips, seminars and workshops aimed at improving birding skills, knowledge, and conservation & habitat measures. 2008 keynote speaker is Joan Garland, International Crane Foundation. Pre-register by May 9 and receive an early-bird rate and canvas tote filled with goodies! Friday evening welcome reception featuring John Bates & Mary Burns. Saturday includes continental breakfast, lunch and dessert social.
