Displayers & vendors make their products & services available to the thousands that attend. The racing portion of Watercross includes drag and oval racing over water including vintage snowmobiles. The races are sanctioned by the International Watercross Association (IWA), the professional racing group. The Grantsburg Watercross is the "World Championship" race within the IWA racing circuit, and this race is known as the "Granddaddy of Them All" by top racers from the US and Canada.
