60th Annual Musky Jamboree Weekend

The festivities kick off with a bang on Friday night, 7-10 pm, with live music by Hip Pocket at our street party under a large tent near Coontail Corner and a fireworks display at 9:30pm. On Saturday, the Boulder Junction Historical Society will hold activities, including a brat and BBQ luncheon, raffles and a bake sale, from 11am-3pm at the Community Center along with guided tours of our Historical Museum. At 12pm, the Picnic Theatre presents “Ouisconsin’s New France Connection, The French Fur Trade Era, 1650-1774”. Musky Jamboree Parade at 3pm. Musky themed floats, boats, past Musky Queens and our honorary Musky Queen, Secretary of Tourism Stephanie Klett. After the parade, head back out the big tent on the street by Coontail Corner for our Polka Fest, featuring Spotlight Polka Band from 6pm-9pm. Sunday continues with the Musky Fun Run 5k and 10k race, registration at 6am and the race begins at 7:30am. To register in advance, visit tandhtiming.com. Registration is $25 through July 30 and $30 beginning July 31. Kid’s races are free. From 9am-4pm over 150 artists fill Main Street and Hwy M South at our Musky Jamboree Arts & Crafts Show including furniture, fine art, jewelry and many other handcrafted items. Additionally, the Lions Club Flea Market will be held on the Community Center grounds. Local service groups and area restaurants will line the streets with food and beverage concessions. Be sure to vote for your favorite automobile at the 25th Annual Musky Day Car Show. Early bird registration, through August 1, is just $12 and $15 beginning August 2. The first 25 early bird registrations receive a complimentary 25th anniversary commemorative t-shirt. Car Show awards will be announced at 2:30pm with the 50/50 raffle winner following the awards. In The Musky Capital of the World®, fishing takes center stage with a Kids Casting Contest presented by Northern Highland Sports & WE Energies from 10:30am-2pm. All children 14 or younger are encouraged to show off their casting skills and compete for prizes. Prizes awarded at 2:30pm. Be sure to stop by the Meet the Guides booth located next to the Kids Casting Contest area for tips on fishing and to meet some of the local guides. Be sure to look up between 10am to 2pm for the Musky Day Fly-In. Held at the Payzer Memorial Field located 2 miles north of Main Street, watch the numerous colorful planes of all varieties take off and land at the airport on Boulder Lake Live entertainment will be presented throughout the day under the big tent at Coontail Corner. Handicapped parking and shuttle service is available from 9am-4pm.
