Three days of fat tire fun! Saturday riders can participate in a 40 mile, mass start, point-to-point off-road bicycle event travels from downtown Hayward over the famed American Birkebeiner Ski Trail, forest roads, snowmobile trails and other wooded lanes to the finish line at Telemark Resort in Cable. Riders can also choose the shorter 16 mile mass start race/tour as the perfect introductory event for those new to off-road cycling, younger riders or for those not ready to tackle the rigors of the marathon Chequamegon 40. Starting on Randysek Road in Cable on the Short & Fat race route utilizes forest roads, the American Birkebeiner Ski Trail and other back wood's paths on the way to the finish line at Telemark Resort. Sunday is Funday, where everyone is invited to be a part of the fat tire fun! Visit the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival website for a full weekend schedule of events!
