The UW Russian Folk Orchestra is celebrating its 25th anniversary! The ensemble was founded in 1997 by Victor Gorodinsky, a Librarian Emeritus at the UW--Madison, with the help from CREECA. It specializes in Slavic and East-European folk and other music performed on authentic instruments, balalaikas and domras of various sizes.
