It starts at Lake St Croix Beach, MN (just north of Afton), travels the MN side of the river south to Winona, crosses over the river and travels north to Prescott, WI, crosses back across the river, and heads back up to Lake St Croix Beach.The total distance is 218 miles.

The Spring Flood Run is a charitable run for Gillette Children's. Wristbands are still only $10 per person. If you are going to ride the entire run, you can upgrade to the Gold Star, which is an additional $20 and includes the highly coveted Gold Star pin. That pin is only earned. Polaris Foundation and Indian Motorcycle pay all of the Run expenses so that 100% of all funds collected at the Run are donated.
