Blue Door Inn
BLUE DOOR Inn, a four-year restoration project. A 19th century single-family home with a blacksmith shop below and later a hardware store, the home has gone through a massive transformation. Today your lodging options range from a choice of Suites to full Apartments. All rooms have access to two 65-foot outdoor porches, a patio with barbecue gas grill & fire pit, river views and great gardens. The Inn is located across from the Mississippi River with great views of the river, eagles overhead and the Alma bluff. Main Street is also Wisconsin State Highway 35 and known as The Great River Road, a Wisconsin National Scenic Byway. Alma, Wisconsin is a 19th century river town on the Mississippi River and was designated a national historic district in 1982. The Blue Door Inn is one of the oldest buildings in the historic district. Boasting great views of the Mississippi River and the Alma bluff, the town is nestled in between these magnificent views.
