Following the largest expansion in the midwest, ever, Granite Peak is bringing Midwest skiing and snowboarding to new heights, with a 700-foot vertical drop; 74 runs to challenge every skill level; and state-of-the-artsnowmaking and lifts, including Granite Peak's new, high speed, 6-person Comet Express -- the Midwest's longest & highest. Granite Peak also has outstanding snowboard facilities including jumps, and terrain features. At base level is Granite Peak's new, 10,000 square-foot Sundance Chalet and Grill; and the restored and renamed historic 10th Mountain Chalet. Granite Peak also has a new Alpine Learning Center and Ticket Building; Mountain Rental Shop featuring 1,500 Salomon and Rossignol skis andsnowboards; a new Peak Performance Demo and Tuning Center; and the Granite Ski and Sports shop featuring Salomon and Volkl skis, plus brand-name apparel, shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces, and jackets.

Open Thanksgiving thru early April. Regular Season hours: Mon 10am-4pm, Tues-Thurs 10am-9pm, Fri & Sat 9am-9pm, Sun 9am-4pm.
