Each of Wisconsin's Rustic Roads have a maximum speed limit of 45 mph, and most connect with main roads at both ends.

Details

Diesel-powered trains with vintage cars. Begin your rail experience by purchasing a ticket at the fully-restored, 1916 SOO Line depot in Osceola. The 11am & 2:30pm trips take you on a 20-mile journey along the sandstone bluffs of the St. Croix River. You'll cross into Minnesota on the Cedar Bend Draw Bridge, stopping in Marine on St. Croix, then returning to Osceola. The 1pm ten-mile round trip takes you through rural Wisconsin farmland to the railroading town of Dresser Junction and back. Enjoy special caboose rides, diesel cab rides, first-class service, pizza trains, dinner trains, the July Fireworks Express, and Fall Color Specials. Check website.
