74 miles of multi-use railbed trail connecting Birchwood with Park Falls. Traverses the rugged wilderness of the Blue Hills, the Flambeau State Forest and the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. (Note: the 10 mile section of the trail from Birchwood to Rice Lake is closed to motorized vehicles.) Camping is available at Smith Lake Campground and Ojibwa Park. Price County portion is open to ATV & UTV use April 15 through November 15 from Park Falls west to the Price/Sawyer County Line. Sawyer County and west to Birchwood is open to ATV & UTV use December 16 through November 15.
