Wade House

An 1860s stagecoach inn built alongside a plank road in Greenbush to serve carriage and wagon traffic. The site includes the reconstructed Herrling sawmill, one of a rare few working water-powered mills of its kind in North America. The Wesley Jung Carriage Museum houses Wisconsin's largest collection of hand-and horse-drawn carriages.

Hours of Operation

The site's regular season ended Oct 17 but reopens for postseason holiday events and special Hearthside Dinner programs once monthly during the fall, winter and spring months. Open 10am-5pm daily May 14 through October 16, 2011.
