Whitetail Ridge Ski Area


Details

Skiers of all ages enjoy the downhill slopes with a vertical drop of over 185 feet. Whitetail Ridge has four ski slopes, the longest run being 1,300 feet. A self loading T-Bar lift serves three slopes.Cross-Country skiing - five miles of trails wind through 300 acres of forest on Fort McCoy. All trails begin and end at the Chalet. Cross-country ski equipment may be rented at the Chalet.The Chalet serves a delicious variety of sandwiches, side dishes and beverages at reasonable prices.Tubing - sliding down the 800' long slope on a large inner tube is part of the thrills at Whitetail. Tubing area has its own tow rope so the ride up is just as fun.Ski & Cabin packages available. Packages start at $100.00 for two people. Call (608) 388-3517 for more information and reservations.
