Wildcat Mountain State Park

Located on a ridge rising steeply above the Kickapoo River. The park has 6 miles of cross-country ski trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing. Snowshoeing, hiking, and visiting the Ice Cave are other popular winter activities. Other times of the year you can bring your horse and enjoy the horse riding trails, trout fishing, canoeing and nature trails. There is an observation point in the upper picnic area overlooks the Kickapoo River. Camping includes a family camp, group camp and a horse camp. Walk-in sites 101-108 are open for winter camping. Pets are welcome in Wisconsin State Parks but must be on a leash and under control at all times. Certain areas may be off limits to pets. Visit our website for more details.
