There are two easy ways to create new Travel Lists to organize and save items that interest you.

1. Create an empty Travel List and then add items to it as you find them.
2. Find an item that interest you on the site and create the Travel List from it.

Creating an empty Travel List

On the Travel Planner page, click on the 'Create A New List' button

1. Name your new Travel List
2. Add a description about your list (optional if private)
3. Choose your privacy setting
4. When finished click 'Submit'
5. If you're not already logged into your TravelWisconsin.com account, you will be asked to log in. If you don't have an account, you'll need to register for an account
6. You can now browse the site and add items to this list

Creating a Travel List from a found item

Once you've found an item of interest, click on the "Add to my Travel List" button or link next to the item you'd like to save to a new Travel List

1. If you're not already logged into your TravelWisconsin.com account, you will be asked to log in. If you don't have an account, you'll need to register for an account.
2. From the 'Add to List' menu choose the '+Create a new Travel List' option and a form will appear
3. Name your new Travel List
4. Add a description about the list (optional if private)
5. Choose your privacy setting
6. When finished, click 'Continue'
7. The item will be added to your new Travel List and saved in your account

It's easy to add new items you’ve found to one of your existing travel lists.

1. Browse TravelWisconsin.com to find things of interest
2. When you find something that interests you, click on the "Add to my Travel List" button or link next to the item you'd like to save
3. If you're not already logged into your TravelWisconsin.com account, you will be asked to log in
4. Once logged in, click on the drop box to select the existing Travel List you'd like to add the item to
5. When finished, click 'Continue'
6. The item will be added to the chosen Travel List and saved in your account
7. If you'd like to add a note about the item (optional) click on the link under 'What would you like to do now?'
8. Add your note and click 'Save' when you're finished

There are two different ways you can view your existing Travel Lists.

Through the Travel Planner Page

1. Make sure you're logged into your account
2. Click on 'Travel Planner' found on the bottom of the left site navigation
3. Your Travel Lists will be listed in the box on the right under 'My Travel Lists'

Through the 'My Travel Lists' section of your account

1. Go to 'My Account' found on the upper right of the page
2. Click on 'My Travel Lists'
3. All of the Travel Lists you have created will be displayed here

Half the fun of using the Travel Planner is checking out what others are doing to get ideas for your own travel plans. There are several ways you can view other users' Travel Lists to get ideas.

Browsing the Most Recent Travel Lists

1. Click on 'Travel Planner' found on the bottom of the left site navigation
2. A list of the most recent Travel Lists will be displayed

Using the Search Tool Box

1. Type in a word or words of what you’re looking for into the 'Search Site' box at the top right of the page and click 'Go'
2. Filter the results by clicking on the 'Travel Lists' filter box found under 'Type'
3. Review the results

There are several ways to easily share your Travel Lists with friends and family.

If You’re the Travel List Owner

You can share both your public and private Travel Lists

1. Make sure you log into your account
2. Go to 'My Account' found on the upper right of the page
3. Click on 'My Travel Lists'
4. All of the Travel Lists you have created will be displayed here for you to access
5. Click on the Travel List you want to share
6. With Travel List open, choose how you want to share it by clicking on one of the following icons at the top of the list:
   1. Email – this allows you to e-mail the list directly to people and comes through in html
   2. Share – this allows you to share the list through a variety of social networks
7. Follow the prompts to complete your sharing

*Note: Private lists can only be shared via email

If You’re NOT the Travel List Owner

1. Find the Travel List you’d like to share
2. Click on the ‘Share’ icon found in the upper right of the page
3. Chose among the variety of options and follow the prompts to complete your sharing
