4 Wisconsin Supper Clubs with Unique Appetizers

Share

When it comes to Wisconsin’s iconic supper clubs, you can certainly expect to find your classic veggie trays and hand-crafted Old Fashioneds across the state, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find some unique twists on familiar favorites from one club to the next. Read on to discover your next favorite supper club appetizer.

Millhome Supper Club – Kiel

In addition to their beloved steakhouse entrees, Millhome Supper Club northwest of Sheboygan offers a little something extra. While you can generally expect to find appetizers like fried mushrooms and onion rings on your supper club menu, Millhome takes it a step further with decadent options like crab-stuffed mushroom caps and cheese curds battered in local Leinenkugel’s beer. Stop by on Sundays for a mouthwatering brunch that includes beef tips, broasted chicken and more.

Toby’s Supper Club – Madison

From the Friday fish fry to their famous dessert cocktails, Toby’s is a classic Wisconsin supper club through and through. The club has been family-owned and operated for over 50 years, and locals and travelers alike flock to it to enjoy the same old-fashioned cooking and charm that they’ve loved for generations.

While a trip to Toby’s is great any time, diners in the know will stop in between Monday and Thursday, when a plate of homemade cinnamon rolls is delivered to each and every table. Baked fresh and topped with cream cheese frosting, this sweet appetizer is the perfect start to what will be, undoubtedly, a fantastic meal.
