Michigan Island Lighthouse

Built: 1857. A 112' tower was added to the station in 1929. The island has a dock and is accessible by boat. Special cruises offer views of the station.

Hours of Operation

National Park volunteers offer guided tours of the station daily, mid-June thru late Sept from 9am-11am and 1pm-4pm.

Directions

Located on the south end of Michigan Island, one of the Apostle Islands off the Bayfield Peninsula in northern Wisconsin.
