Yesterday House/Liberty School

The Yesterday House is a log house that was built in 1885. Liberty School was built in 1919. The Yesterday House contains items used by early settlers. These buildings are overseen by German Settlement History, Inc. The Yesterday House and Liberty School are open to visitors on a regular basis Spring to Fall. A Barn Dance fundraiser is held the Sunday evening of Memorial Day Weekend and an Open House is held Sunday and Monday of Labor Day weekend, noon to 5pm and 10am to 5pm, respectively.

The buildings are located in Spirit, east of Ogema on Hwy. 86 about nine miles, then south on Hwy. 102 for three miles and then east on County Hwy. YY one and one/half miles to N894 S German Settlement Road. This location at the junction of YY and German
