Last Updated: 7/12/2016
With its 50th anniversary approaching in 2017, the World’s Largest Music Festival returns to Milwaukee’s lakefront this summer with Summerfest. An 11 day-long party complete with tasty food, Fourth of July fireworks and jammin’ tunes, Summerfest is a can’t-miss celebration for you and your family. Boasting a history of headliners that include Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, Destiny’s Child and Britney Spears, Summerfest keeps Milwaukee’s fun-filled festival tradition alive by bringing in historic and hip acts every year. With the Henry Maier Festival Grounds home to two large venues, as well as a smattering of smaller but equally groovy stages, Summerfest is a one of a kind music spectacular that offers a little something for everyone. Whether you like rock, country, alternative, hip-hop or reggae music, you’re sure to find it at Summerfest! Stop by to hang out on the lake, grab a bite from one of the fest’s local vendors and experience a party like no other!
Food and Drink
There are over 45 food and beverage vendors at Summerfest, giving a pleathera of options to satisfy any taste buds. Don't forget to save room for Wisconsin's finest, cheese curds. Quench your thirst with a Miller Lite, the official beer of Summerfest.
Summerfest is about the music. On any given day, you'll hear alternative, rock, country, R&B, pop, reggae and more with a different national headliner every day. You can wander between 13 different stages and pick what you're in the mood for. All stages are free with your admission ticket, except for the Marcus Amphitheater performances which are sold separately.

Open from noon until midnight, Summerfest is certainly a festival like no other! These are just a few events/attractions Summerfest has to offer. More information on Summerfest, special events and attractions can be found on the Summerfest website. This entry was posted in Things to Do
