Come up to Bayfield for an entire weekend 'Celebrating Ice, Snow and Cabin Fever!' Special events throughout the weekend include: the Run on Water, the Mt. Ashwabay WinterDASH - a wild winter obstacle course run; the Polar Bear Plunge - Watch volunteers jump through a hole in the ice to raise money, or better yet, do it yourself!, and the Mt. Ashwabay WinterBASH - Including bonfire, food, live music, night tubing, sleigh rides and more! Many other activities take place throughout the weekend including; the Freeze Your Glass Off Deck Party & broomball at the Bayfield Inn, a candlelight walk on the Brownstone Trail with the BRC, Bayfield's First Friday, downhill and cross country skiing at Mt. Ashwabay throughout the weekend, children's activities at the Bayfield Area Recreation Center, and dogsled rides and kiteboarding on the lake (weather dependent).
