The Dodge County Center for the Arts (DCCA) is pleased to announce the opening of its latest exhibition, "The Dust Bowl," beginning on March 23rd and running until April 28th.

This captivating exhibit showcases interpretations by local artists of the iconic dust bowl era, along with a collection of authentic artifacts from that period, including depression glass and dust bowl era quilts.

In conjunction with the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre (BDACT), the DCCA will be opening its doors one hour before and after each performance of "Brand New Life – The Dust Bowl Musical" presented by the BDACT. Revealing the struggles and resilience of individuals during the dust bowl era, this musical promises to be a poignant and remarkable experience for all attendees.

Art enthusiasts and history buffs alike are in for a treat, as the DCCA's dust bowl exhibition will run in parallel with "Art Without the Brush," showcasing the oil pastel art of Steve Strassmann.

The BDACT’s show "Brand New Life – The Dust Bowl Musical," will have exclusive showings on April 5th, 6th, 7th, 11th, 12th, and 13th. All showtimes are set for 7 pm, except for the April 7th matinee performance, which will commence at 2 pm. The musical promises to be a mesmerizing journey through one of America's most challenging times, brought to life by the talented cast and crew of the BDACT.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the art, history, and culture of the dust bowl era.

Admission to "The Dust Bowl" and "Art Without a Brush" shows at the DCCA is always free and open to the public.
