Located in the idyllic, inspirational landscape of Door County, Peninsula School of Art provides one to five-day workshops in ALL media throughout the year. Taking advantage of the scenic beauty, our studio arts curriculum is coupled with plein air workshops, drawing and photography. Small class sizes encourage artistic growth for all skill levels. Workshop programming is supported by art history and appreciation lectures, an annual symposium to build career skills for artists, and special events for students of all ages and abilities. Compelling educationally-themed exhibitions of notable artists' works underscore learning. Summer Studios for Young Artists, ages 3.5-17. Founded in 1964, our School enjoys a rich heritage of excellence in art education within an active arts community.
