Quarry Ridge Recreation Area
This free recreation area has more than three miles of off-road and freeride mountain bike trails with single-track, wooden structures (freeride) and steep inclines and drops. The trails are rated for beginner to expert. The trails overlook the scenic quarry pond. Quarry Ridge also contains hiking trails, a shelter that can accommodate up to 75 people, restrooms, picnic tables, information kiosk, and parking lot. It also provides direct access to the Military Ridge State Trail.
From Highway 18/151, head west on Hwy PD/McKee Road, then take the next left on Nesbitt Road. Go approximately one mile and turn left on Fitchrona Road. The parking area will be visible right after you go under the bridge for the Military Ridge State Trail.
