Sturgeon Bay is a year round community that changes with the seasons. Spring offers beautiful daffodils and both apple and cherry blossoms. Summer showcases lush parks and beautiful views of the water. The cool temperatures of fall bring abundant hues of autumnal colors and fall festivals. And finally, winter - the crisp fresh air, bright sun and beautiful snow blanket our community. The large freighters come into the shipyards for their winter repairs and respite.

Sturgeon Bay has fantastic fishing opportunities. You can cast your rod from many of our quaint parks, docks and beaches. Sturgeon Bay is unique in that you can fish the waters of Green Bay and then fish Lake Michigan without ever leaving your boat. If you do want to get out on the water, Sturgeon Bay offers state of the art public boat launching facilities and beautiful marinas. If you would like to fish with the professionals, there are great charter captains here with various sized boats, amenities and offerings.
