For a breath of fresh air...

Get on your bike and ride the Old Abe State Trail. This 19.5 mile paved trail takes you from Chippewa Falls over Lake Wissota, through Jim Falls to Cornell all the while, following the undeveloped shoreline of the Chippewa River where solitude and wildlife are abundant. Anglers and paddling enthusiasts will enjoy 6300-acre Lake Wissota and, with many nooks and crannies, you'll be sure to find a spot to rejuvenate your senses.
