Kimball Lake Resort

Kimball Lake Resort is a small housekeeping resort located in a beautiful wooded area near Minong in the northwest corner of Washburn County. Four traditional lakeshore cabins -- one with two bedrooms and the others with three bedrooms -- are located in a natural wooded setting overlooking the shores of Lower Kimball Lake. If you're not here for the fishing, the peaceful surroundings will give you plenty of chance to relax and escape the noise of the city. A small, sandy beach area allows guests to cool off on hot days, and there's plenty of room to roam with hiking trails throughout the resort's 139 acres. If you prefer fall or winter get-aways, we keep two cabins open year-round and have convenient access to roads connecting to snowmobile and ATV trails. The lakes are posted as "voluntary" low-speed lakes to help protect the quiet northwoods atmosphere. All cabins are furnished for housekeeping with the exception of towels. All have full baths with showers, refrigerators, gas ranges, coffee makers, charcoal grills and TVs with local network only. Cabin rentals includes the use of one fishing boat and a private dock. Motors and extra boats are available for rent on a daily or weekly basis. A pontoon boat may be rented by the hour or day. Gas-oil mix available on site.
