Henry S. Reuss Ice Age Visitor Center
Make the Ice Age Visitor Center your first stop when you arrive at the forest. The center is about 0.5 miles west of Dundee on State Highway 67. Nestled in the Kettle Moraine sits the Henry S. Reuss Ice Age Visitor Center. Learn about all the wonders of the Northern Unit from the wide array of recreational opportunities, to the world famous glacial features and to the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Throughout the year, the forest naturalists present a wide array of fun-filled educational programs. The programs are held at the Ice Age Visitor Center, Mauthe Lake Recreation Area, Long Lake Recreation Area or at other spots within the forest. View exhibits to learn about the frozen history of Wisconsin and the gifts of the glacier. There is a great view of the landscape from the nature center and a naturalist is available to answer your questions.Visit the gift shop offering books, clothing and other souvenirs. The gift shop is operated by the Friends of Kettle Moraine—Northern Unit and all proceeds support the forest.
