How do you Sheboygan?
We surf, kite surf, wind surf, stand-up paddle board, sail, kayak, jet ski, boat, fish, bike, golf, eat, drink, dance, relax, spa, enjoy. And we fry brats! We are the Bratwurst Capital of the World, after all. We’re known as the Spirit on the Lake, the Malibu of the Midwest and Shevegas!
Don’t leave without tasting…
Sheboygan’s local lakeside restaurant scene, also known as Pier Pleasure. Fashioned into a culinary destination by the city’s top chefs, it’s known to both leisurely and serious foodies alike as a hot spot for quenching gourmet desire. Inspired by the Amalfi Coast and Continental Europe topped off with fresh Wisconsin harvest from gate to plate, indulge in our most famous dining experiences at Lino Ristorante, Margaux, Trattoria Stefano, 8th Street Ale Haus, Il Ritrovo or Field to Fork. Or make a reservation at Sheboygan’s Culinary Institute for refreshing, innovative entrees created by the city’s future chefs!
Explore your adventurous side…
On the same waters that international sailors train for global competition. Sail Sheboygan is one of four U.S. Olympic training centers for sailors and the only one in the Midwest on fresh water. But don’t let that scare you! In Sheboygan, sailing is an affordable, safe, family activity. It’s one of the most exhilarating adventures of a lifetime.
Fishing? You’ll catch the big one if you…
Heed the words, “Location! Location! Location!” Sheboygan is a fisherman’s dream. Check out our 12-year averages: Chinook Salmon 28.29 lbs., Coho Salmon 13.30 lbs., Rainbow Trout 16.56 lbs., Lake Trout 20.84 lbs., Brown Trout 21.37 lbs. Register your catch at The Wharf because you just might win an annual trophy you don’t have to mount on your wall. If you take your catch to Angler’s Avenue Pub & Grill, they’ll prepare it for your dinner. If you reel in a nice size King Salmon, have it smoked by Schwarz Fish Company and shipped to your door.
