Located in eastern Wisconsin, this county bordering Lake Michigan is located directly north of Milwaukee County. The area has a unique composition of cities considered to be part of the greater Milwaukee area and also countryside and escapes from urban living. Along with its Lake Michigan coastline, the Wisconsin River also flows through many of the communities. These bodies of water provide opportunities for fishing, swimming, canoeing or kayaking. The Interurban Trail is a 30-mile paved trail that is open year round for families to enjoy for non-motorized purposes such as biking, cross country skiing, or walking. And don't miss out on exploring the incredible history, architecture and small town charm in Cedarburg. The entire five block downtown is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers visitors plenty to do and see.
