Crawford County

Bordered on the south and west by wildlife refuges of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers, Crawford County is a bonanza for birders and anglers. The Kickapoo River snakes through the county, following the ridges, valleys and hollows of breathtaking region. In the center of the county, Gays Mills is renowned for its apple orchards. A visit in the spring to see the blossoms and then a trek in the fall for crisp apples is a tradition for many.
