Dozens of wonderful gluten-free dining options exist all over Wisconsin. Many restaurant owners and food producers know that gluten often lurks in products unrelated to wheat. That’s reflected in the range of choices Wisconsin travelers have as they tour this great state. Here’s an A-Z list of some of the state’s best stops for guiltless, gluten-free meals made from quality, often locally sourced ingredients! Bon Appetite!

A. Ask Madison’s Arbor House wheat/gluten free guests about breakfast and they’ll tell you skill and flexibility goes into this Green B&B’s menu planning.

B. Bring on a thick slice of cheesy pizza with not a gluten worry in the world when it comes from Roman Candle Pizzeria Fitchburg or Roman Candle Pizzeria Middleton.

C. Cake lovers race to Tamara's the Cupcake Guru in Oskhosh or Appleton for moist gluten-free cupcakes. The owner can work with dairy-free requests and also sells vegan offerings!

D. Delicious Door County fruits are just one substitute for wheat products on the comprehensive, gluten-free menu at The Cookery in Fish Creek.

E. Erbert & Gerbert’s Flavornation rocked its sandwich shop from hometown Eau Claire to a nationwide franchise with gluten-free options even USA Today wrote about.

F. Farm to table-dining is tops at Parkside 23 with a gluten-free menu created largely from their own back-forty as Wisconsin’s only on-site farm restaurant.

G. Green Bay’s Cheese Cake Heaven is gluten free heaven for its chili and sweet breads and gluten free Original Cheesecake.

H. Have a meal out on the town without the worry of finding something gluten-free at Junior’s Bar & Restaurant in River Falls. Their expansive menu includes steaks, pasta, and hamburgers in addition to a number of gluten-free options.

I. Imagine life without fine Italian dining no more! Madison’s Bellini Italian Restaurant substitutes dishes with local RP Pasta’s spinach and brown rice pasta.

M. Mia Famiglia’s gluten-free kitchen in Hales Corners makes true, from-scratch Italian pasta dishes accessible to carb-loaders of all nationalities and food tolerances!

N. Never doubt the power of motherly love, evidenced by Molly’s Gluten Free Bakery in Pewaukee offering sugary decadence spun out of love for her gluten-intolerant son.

O. Order a Jac’s longed-for flatbread option gluten-free and wash it down with a gluten-free or reduced pilsner; just one safe option on their famously locally-sourced menu.

P. Possibly offering one of the most inventive gluten-free menus, Brookfield’s Cafe Manna boasts “Yummy Food” like raw Thai rolls wrapped in collard greens.

Q. Quinoa pasta is just one gluten-free option on The Rookery Pub’s as-seasonal-as-possible menu at the Cable Nature Lodge, tucked into the Chequamegon Forest.

T. Tour LakeFront Brewery in the historic Milwaukee Electric Railway and Power Company building and clink glasses of New Grist pilsner-style beer to the experience!

U. Uniquely dedicated to vegetarian and vegan customers, the Cheese Factory in Wisconsin Dells also replaces its many flatbread entrees with gluten-free corn tortillas.

V. Value Bundles of RP’s Pasta, Renaissance Farm basil products and Silly Yak Bakery are such a hit, Oprah Magazine even raved about it.
