The Yellow River is best paddled from below the Necedah Dam down to the Buckhorn State Park Wildlife Area at the upper end of Castle Rock Flowage. Bald Eagles are often seen in this area. A lot of wildlife and many bird species. No falls or rapids but swift currents and numerous deadfalls.
