Camping is a popular attraction at South Wood County Park. There are 73 campsites, 54 of these electrical. Shower facilities are available. South Wood County Park features two beach areas along Lake Wazeecha, White Sands and  Red Sands, home of the largest and longest running Water Ski Show Tournament in the world.  Other popular features include a boat ramp, a wheelchair-accessible area to fish, picnic areas, playgrounds, a 4.1 mile walk/bike trail, a nine-hole disc golf course, and shelter buildings. The shelter buildings include small open shelters as well as a reservable enclosed stone shelter, a reservable large open shelter, and the Red Sands Beach Pavilion, which has both an enclosed and an open area.
